Finally the time had arrived for one of the big highlights for both of us on this trip - the infamous Galapagos Islands. Famous becuase of it's isolation from the rest of the world for such a long time that when Charles Darwin visited it in the early 19th century it helped him create his famous work on The Theory of Natural Selection used to explain how mankind developed into human beings as we are today.
