Good craic en Amérique Latine

Du 13 au 14 Décembre 2017 Après un nuit paisible, debout à 4h30 du matin pour prendre le tortillard de Peru Rail qui nous emmène à Agua Caliente (1h45 environ). Nous sommes dans un wagon panoramique qui nous permet d’admirer le paysage grandiose tout en longeant une rivière (l’Urubamba) qui nous accompagnera jusqu’à l’arrivée. Nous voyons par les fenêtres du wagon, les trekkeurs qui vont mettre 4 jours à faire le même trajet. Respect à eux ! After a peaceful night, starting at 04:30 in the morning to take the twist and turns of Peru Rail that takes us to Agua Caliente (1h45). We are in a panoramic wagon (Windows on roof) that allows us to admire the grandiose landscape while following a river (the Urubamba) that will accompany us to the finish. We see through the wagon windows, the trekkers who will take 4 days to make the same trip but through the mountains. Respect to them! Dans le train une collation est servie à l’aller comme au retour. Du 11 au 13 Décembre 2017 Arrivée à la nuit à Cuzco: 3ème ville du pays avec environ 550000 habitants et toujours 3300m d’altitude. Direction l’hôtel et on verra demain… Notre hôtel étant à 50m de la Plaza de Armas, nous avons le plaisir de découvrir un superbe endroit, point central de la ville. Grandes cathédrales, immenses parois, jets d’eau, balcons couleur ocre, rouge,… Les espagnols n’ont pas fait que du bien mais là c’est géant. Arrival at night in Cuzco: 3rd city of the country with about 550,000 inhabitants and as always, 3300m of altitude. Head straight to the hotel and we will see tomorrow ... Our hotel is 50m from the Plaza de Armas, we are pleased to discover a beautiful place, central point of the city. Large cathedrals, huge walls, water jets, balconies ocher red, ...
