Du 4 au 7 Novembre 2017 Once we arrived back in Neiva we took a bus for Armenia as we wanted to visit the small & picturesque town of Salento and Armenia is the closest big town nearby. The journey was supposed to take only 6/7 hours but because of some protests by the local indigenous population, we did not arrive until 22.30 which was much too late (and dangerous) to go to Salento. Une fois de retour à Neiva, nous avons pris un bus pour Arménie car nous voulions visiter la petite ville pittoresque de Salento et Arménie est la plus grande ville à proximité. Le voyage était censé durer seulement 6/7 heures mais à cause de manifestations des populations indigènes locales, nous ne sommes pas arrivés avant 22h30, ce qui était beaucoup trop tard (et dangereux) pour rejoindre Salento. Du 1er au 3 Novembre 2017 Une fois arrivés à Neiva, nous avions encore un peu de trajet à parcourir avant d'atteindre le désert de Tatacoa: une première partie en minibus pendant environ 1h20 jusqu'à la petite ville de Villavieja, puis des motos taxis jusqu'à notre hostel situé près du site. Le trajet en minibus ne fut pas des plus agréable car la route est dans un piteux état sur cette section et ça brasse pas mal. Par contre, quel bonheur de parcourir la dernière partie à moto, le paysage martien (car rouge) est fabuleux et respirer l'air pur et sentir le vent dans ses cheveux après le tape cul subit avant, fut un vrai délice. Once we arrived in Neiva, we still had a little way to travel before reaching the desert of Tatacoa: a first part by minibus for about 1h20 to the small town of Villavieja, then motorcycle taxis to our hostel located near the site. The trip by minibus was not very pleasant because the road are in a sorry state on this section and it bre
